“Whilst the standard labour rates are great for estimating, they can affect the accuracy of my estimated versus actual reports. Is there any way I can use individual charge out rates for my employees when their times are entered?”

Yes. As is typical with Manager, complete flexibility has been built in to allow you to operate the way you want. Simply tell Manager in the Factory Options dialogue that you want to use individual employee charge out rates. Once you have done this, go to the Charge Rates tab for each employee profile, and enter the rates you want for that employee. You can have as many as you want, and would typically include normal, time and half, double time and site rates. You can nominate a rate as the default rate for that employee.

“Some of my clients have a preferred format for their quotation documentation. How can I satisfy their requests?”

In the same way that you can currently customise reports – either by using Crystal Reports or by Internetit technicians – create a report format for your client. Then, as part of the client’s properties, nominate a shared folder for the report to live. Manager always looks for reports in the nominated client folder before printing out the standard reports.

“Is there a way to group or save the reports I require on a regular basis?”

The “Favorites” folder allows you to group your often printed reports together, saving more time. We’ve also made it easier for you to find the exact information report you need from your Manager database. Particularly complex financial reports like WIP reports will have extensive descriptions available saving you time finding the information and allowing you more time to focus on what you need to do with the information.
